An Alphabet That Listens
My son is 19 months old. I love him more than anything.
He’s learning to talk. He’s learning his letters.
So I built him something.
An alphabet that listens.
Say “apple” → apples burst across the screen.
Say “A” → it advances.
No taps. No buttons. No friction.
Just a browser, a microphone, and a celebration for every word he learns.
Built in under an hour.
This is what learning can feel like.
10+ years in UX, and this might be the simplest, most meaningful thing I’ve built.
P.S. Browser-native. No app. No download. Just speak.
